Prohibitive taxes and Africa

Because of prohibitive local taxes and a host of other problems, buying a new car in places like Africa is so expensive that only a few privileged and extremely rich people can be able to afford it. Little wonder that Japanese used cars or reconditioned cars, as the car salesmen like to cal them in Africa have become so popular on the continent.
